Peter: keyboards, vocals, business manager One of the four original members of Chance from the group's inception some 25 years ago, Peter's talents as a keyboardist and his personality exemplify the professionalism and attitude of the group's approach to its work and audiences. If you wish to personalize Chance for your event, Peter is the man to contact. Dr. John: guitar, vocals, music coordinator, arrangements A founding member, Dr. John is the musical force driving Chance. His dedication and work ethic are only equaled by his outstanding talents as a guitarist. Musicians tend to drift off course, but Dr. John keeps the musical direction of tune focused in time. Bob: sax, vocals A founding member, Bob's talents are continually developing both as a saxophonist and vocalist. He can always be counted on for a little "flavor" musically and comically throughout the night Rich: bass guitar, electric upright bass, vocals Another original member, Rich's talents have long been appreciated as much by other musicians as the audiences. The sound he creates leaves a memorable "feel" in everyone who listens to his bass. Russ: keyboards, vocals An on-stage presence, Russ is often the focal as well as the vocal point of our presentation. his obvious comfort with an audience helps create the interactive atmosphere that sets Chance apart from other groups. Andrew: drums, percussion This Sandusky, Ohio native moved out to Los Angeles shortly after graduating high school and immediately began playing the club scene. Less than a year later he auditioned for and got a spot playing drums in the jazz big band at Orange Coast College under the tutelage of renowned music director "Doc" Rutherford. Music theory studies soon followed. An accomplished writer, arranger, and drummer, Andrew has performed with some of the finest musicians and composers in the business: bass player, Max Bennett (Joni Mitchell, Crusaders, Peggy Lee, etc.); saxophonist, Vince Denham (Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, etc.); Keyboard player, Mark Morgan (Chaka Khan, Rickie Lee Jones, Starship)…just to name just a few. Ricky T.: trumpet, vocals Rick's talent on the trumpet helps to meld the horn section into one unique sound. His versatility of range from leads to soft back-up round out one of the band's best assets. When he's not playing horn, he is adding to the sound with small percussion. Bob S.: - trumpet, vocals
